"SHIELD ME O MY BROTHERS, I FEAR WHAT I'VE BECOME"

A Scalp For The Tribe
“A Scalp For The Tribe” is calling for indespensable nuance between opposing views.
In 2020 the masses are succumbing to the gloom of their respective echo chambers and are lost in the us/they phenomenon. We would rather see our political adversaries destroyed than engage them in serious and open debate.
We gather the scalps of our fallen enemies for our tribe and wear them like badges of honour, show them off and climb the ranks.
The album is begging for reconciliation and underlines the duality and interconnectedness of the two sides. Black and white, receptive and active, yin and yang.
To truly defeat an adversary one must change his mind by adressing the internal clockwork beneath the scalp, looking for common ground as a starting point.
Afterwards, honest and open communication can commence. That’s how a “Scalp” is won.
Without any victims.
